The contradiction between power supply and demand in the five southern provinces is slowing down: the whole network has not implemented orderly power consumption and coal storage for 3 consecutive days, and all power plants below 7 days have been "cleared" 报错 笔记

According to China Southern Power Grid Corporation, at present, thermal power plants in the southern region (Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Hainan) store 16.71 million tons of coal, which can be used for 23 days. Since mid October, the coal storage of thermal power plants in the South has gradually increased, more than 3 million tons more than the end of September. At present, the power plants with coal less than 7 days in the South have been cleared.
The reporter learned that after more than two months of efforts, the tension between energy supply and demand in the southern region has finally been effectively alleviated. Since November 4, China Southern Power Grid has not implemented orderly power consumption for three consecutive days. This is the first time that China Southern Power Grid has not implemented orderly power consumption since the comprehensive start of orderly power consumption in May this year.
In the past, in order to reduce the peak valley load difference of the power grid, optimize the allocation of resources and improve the security of the power grid, the south region once implemented the initiative of orderly power consumption. Nowadays, the contradiction between power supply and demand has tended to ease. China Southern Power Grid Corporation said that at present, the coal storage in the southern region has gradually improved, the unplanned shutdown and blocked output reduction of thermal power have decreased significantly, and the power generation capacity has been further improved. On November 4, the maximum load of China Southern Power Grid was 173.8 million KW, and the daily unified dispatching and receiving power was 3.531 billion kwh, both higher than that in the same period last year.
This is due to the continuous increase of power coal supply and the accelerated recovery of coal storage in power plants. According to the statistics of the national development and Reform Commission, the average daily dispatching output of coal from November 1 to 5 reached 11.66 million tons, an increase of more than 1.2 million tons compared with the end of September, and the maximum daily output reached 11.93 million tons, a new high in recent years.

In addition, the unplanned outage and output reduction capacity of coal-fired power units decreased significantly. It was 13.58 million KW on November 4, a decrease of 28.38 million kW (a decrease of 68%) compared with the maximum 41.96 million KW at the end of September, and the power generation capacity was further improved.
In addition to the rapid improvement of coal storage to provide strong support for energy supply, China Southern Power Grid has also taken a number of measures to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid. For example, strengthen the operation and maintenance of power facilities such as the main channel of West to East power transmission, accelerate the construction of key projects such as the middle channel and Nantong road of Guangdong power grid, and give priority to ensuring the power consumption of residents, agriculture, important public utilities and public welfare services.
At the same time, China Southern Power Grid also plays the role of a large platform for resource allocation, scientifically coordinates the west to East power transmission and power supply guarantee, strengthens inter provincial resource allocation, strengthens the cultivation of demand response to the market, and promotes the construction of a unified power market in the southern region.
China Southern Power Grid Corporation said that since November, the continuous settlement trial operation of the spot market in the South (starting from Guangdong) has been started, and some provinces have optimized and adjusted the trading mechanism with positive or negative market transaction price difference, which has also played a positive role in alleviating the power shortage.
