Several difficulties faced by China

For a long time, there have been great obstacles to the export growth of diesel generator sets in China. On the one hand, there are barriers and technical constraints in the overseas market. 1、 Constraints of supply and demand information. Our company's tributary markets for exporting diesel generator sets, such as Asia and Africa, once had a saturation trend. However, because they are not familiar with other markets, they are slow to open up the South American market, which is dominated by medium-sized countries.



2、 Price and export order constraints. Nowadays, due to technical reasons, coupled with the falling price of raw materials and the decline of transportation costs, China's diesel generator sets have a certain impact on product exports. The price competition among export enterprises is also very fierce, and the phenomenon of competitive price reduction can be seen everywhere.



3、 Constraints of foreign certification needs. For example, products exported to EU countries must pass CE safety certification; Diesel generator sets exported to the United States must pass EPA emission certification, and some importers in the United States also require products to obtain UL safety certification; India has also implemented emission, safety and other certification systems for imported diesel generator sets; Vietnam has stipulated laws and regulations limiting the import of parts of single cylinder diesel generator sets; Nigeria requires the passing assessment of SONCAP.



4、 Constraints of technical requirements in foreign markets. Most of the diesel generator sets exported by Chinese companies are single cylinder or domestic Shangchai and Cummins diesel generator sets. The requirements for single cylinder diesel generator sets in foreign markets are constantly improving. In addition to the increasing requirements for economy and energy, the requirements for product service life and stability are also improving. For example, developed countries in West Thailand have high requirements for vibration and noise; Regions such as Africa and the Middle East put forward the requirements of anti-aging and dry cooling for the cooling system of single cylinder diesel generating sets. The high temperature area has higher requirements for the starter. In addition, due to the continuous decline of oil prices, low fuel consumption has been mentioned by most customers.




5、 The restriction of perfect after-sales service. Because the product price is not high, in view of the small profit space, enterprises generally do not provide after-sales service for exported products, but only provide a certain number of common accessories, and do not carry out operation training for users at all.
