More than 2000 workers make the final sprint for the construction of dam crest structure

At 9 a.m., the sun was shining brightly in the dry hot valley. With blue sky and white clouds overhead, Pei Lei from the dam project Department of Baihetan Construction Department of Three Gorges group came to the top of the dam. On May 31, the dam of Baihetan Hydropower Station was fully poured to the top, and the 709 meter long dam arc was perfectly presented.

At present, the test of the first batch of units of Baihetan Hydropower Station before commissioning with water and involving the power grid has been completed. Water commissioning of units is an important test process before grid connected power generation, which involves many system processes and takes a long time. It is often carried out late into the night. For builders, overtime has become a normal, and sticking to holidays has become a responsibility.
