Ghana Power Grid Corporation (gridco) recently said that with economic development, Ghana's power demand will exceed 6000 MW in the next decade. At present, Ghana's peak power demand is 3000 MW, the installed power generation capacity is 5200 MW, and the length of power transmission and transformation line is 6400 km.
