Cangwu, Guangxi: zero defect operation of the first 220 kV 3C green substation

On December 22, 2021, in the 220 kV Qirong 3C green substation in Cangwu County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi, the power workers of Guangxi Wuzhou Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid were busy scrubbing, debugging and inspecting the equipment before putting into operation and power transmission.



On December 23, after more than a year of construction, the first 220 kV Qirong 3C green substation in Cangwu County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi was put into operation with zero defects. The completion and operation of the project will meet the power demand of Cangwu county's load growth, meet the requirements of power supply n-1, improve the reliability of power supply, and provide power access points for the electrification transformation of "Wuhe" intercity railway and Luoyang Zhanjiang railway planned to be built during the 14th Five Year Plan Period. Provide more reliable power guarantee for the economic and social development and Rural Revitalization of Cangwu county.



It is reported that the 220 kV Qirong power transmission and transformation project is a key project of Guangxi Power Grid Corporation of China Southern Power Grid. Guangxi power grid construction branch is responsible for the construction and management, with a total investment of 95.11 million yuan. In this phase, a 120 MVA main transformer is built, and two 220 kV lines are connected to the power grid system. The substation is designed according to unattended design and adopts advanced microcomputer monitoring and integrated automation system. The substation has the advantages of advanced equipment, economy, energy saving, green environmental protection and so on.
