The single shaft combined cycle power plant with the highest efficiency in China was completed and put into operation

At 8:00 on April 2, unit 2 of Datang Wanning 9F gas-fired power plant project, the most efficient single shaft combined cycle power plant in China built by China Energy Anhui No. 1 power construction company, successfully passed the 168 hour full load test run. Previously, unit 1 was successfully put into operation, marking the full commercial operation of the project. During operation, all systems operate in good condition, and the key performance indicators are better than the design standards.
Datang Wanning gas power plant project is located at the junction of Beida town and hou'an Town, Wanning City, the southeast coast of Hainan Island. Two 460 MW gas steam combined cycle pure condensing generator units are built. The combined cycle power generation efficiency is more than 59.89%, with FCB island operation function and black start capability.
The project adopts advanced digital three-dimensional modular design, and adopts 8 national key energy-saving and low-carbon technology applications, 9 new technology applications in the construction industry, and 11 "five new" promotion and application of power construction. Using the automation technology of one key start and stop and fieldbus, it has created many firsts in the same industry in China from the smart construction site to the construction and operation of smart power plant.
The project is the first large-scale power supply project for central enterprises to support the construction of Hainan's five networks infrastructure. It is of great significance for Hainan Province to build a national ecological civilization pilot zone and a clean energy island. After the completion of the project, the annual power generation will be about 2.6 billion kwh, which can replace about 800000 tons of standard coal. It will change the lack of support for power grid space security in the eastern part of Hainan Province, effectively improve the power supply reliability of Wanning City, and is of great significance for Hainan Province to build a national ecological civilization pilot area and clean energy island and help achieve the goal of "double carbon".
