Recently, the bilateral negotiation and transaction of power in Guangxi in the second quarter of 2022 was successfully completed. Guangxi natural gas power generation enterprises participated in the medium and long-term power market transaction for the first time and independently traded 150 million kwh. This marks the official entry of Guangxi gas and electricity into the power market and an important step in the market-oriented reform of energy and electricity in Guangxi.
In order to promote the construction of new power system regulatory power supply and further liberalize the power generation plan, the Southern Energy Regulatory Bureau actively organized and carried out gas and electricity market research, studied relevant problems and solutions, cooperated with relevant local departments to promote the establishment of Guangxi natural gas power generation market-oriented trading mechanism, designed gas and electricity direct trading and power generation right transfer trading varieties, and guided Guangxi electric power trading center to formulate the implementation plan of clean energy market-oriented trading, Supervise enterprises to participate in market transactions, provide new development ideas and opportunities for gas and power enterprises, and promote the high-quality development of the energy industry.
